All candles are expertly poured into a fine bone china vessel, which has been beautifully hand decorated in Stoke on Trent with my signature black and white illustrations.
Once the candle is finished you can reuse the vessel with a replacement candle, a simple tea light or just use it as a handy pot for all manner of things
Safety & Care
Always position candle on a level and heat resistant surface and away from flammable objects that could ignite
The first burn is vital to give you the perfect burns for the life of your candle
Your initial burn should be for approximately 3-4 hours to allow the candle to pool and melt across the whole surface to the edge of the container. This will give an even melt and prevent tunnelling
Subsequent burns should be for no longer than 3-4 hours
Always trim the wick to 0.5 - 1cm in between burns
Stop using your candle when there’s 1cm of wax remaining
Never handle a hot candle, allow to fully cool before touching
Remove & Reuse
The best and easiest way to remove residue wax from the container is to fill it will hot water. This will allow the wax to gently release from the sides and base and rise to the top. Allow to cool and remove the cooled wax layer.
Alternatively, you can heat gently in a microwave, but be careful not to overheat the vessel and use suitable gloves/protection when handling the warm vessel. Any softened wax can be wiped from the inside of the vessel with kitchen towel or suitable absorbent wipe
Do not put vessels with residual wax into the dishwasher, remove all wax before putting it in the dishwasher
